In this paper, the authors consider a controllable system for which stabilizability or controllability is studied together with the further goal of ``cost regulation''. It is shown that stabilization of feedback of degree \(k\) with adjustable costs implies global asymptotic controllability with adjustable costs. A chain of equivalences is established between stabilizability of degree \(k\) with adjustable cost, asymptotic controllability with adjustable cost, and the existence of a minimal constraint function of degree \(k\).
