The purpose of this article is to express a \(k\)-tuple sum of \(q\)-series as a linear combination of terms wherein each term is a product of expressions of the form \[\frac{1}{(qy,qy^{-1};q)_{\infty}}\] by using a formula for a very-well posed \(q\)-hypergeometric series. The proofs use the concepts of overpartition and overpartition pairs and then turn from single to double sums. Each theorem from 2 to 8 consists of four formulas, which are proved in consecutive order. However, each step is not explained in detail. The same applies to the proof of Theorem 1. In this proof, a complicated formula found in [\textit{G. E. Andrews}, in: Theory Appl. Spec. Funct., Proc. Adv. Semin., Madison191--224 (1975; Zbl 0342.33001), Theorem 4] is used. Without a proper logarithmic notation for \N\(q\)-hypergeometric series, it is very difficult for the reader to follow this long formula, especially since it remains an open question whether the \N\(q\)-exponential in this formula can be expressed in a more readable form using the authors' notation.
