Let \(Z\subset \mathbb{P}^r\), \(r\ge 3\), be a finite set contained in a complex projective space. If \(r=3\) the set was called \textit{geproci} if for a general \(o\in \mathbb{P}^3\setminus Z\) the linear projection \(\ell_o\) from \(o\) send \(S\) bijectively to a complete intersection of \(2\) plane curves. First, the authors define a generalization (arbitrary \(\mathbb{P}^r\) and linear projection from a general linear subspace with a prescribed dimension and image the scheme-theoretic intersection of subvarieties of prescribe dimensions). Such finite sets are very difficult to construct (the examples obtained for the original case are quoted in the paper under review), but the authors give examples that, when they exists, they are related to interesting geometric propperties. Then main aim (obtained!) is to construct examples in a very specific case; sets \(Z\subset \mathbb{P}^4\) with cardinality \(bd\) (called \textit{\((b,d)\)-geoprofi}) whose general projection from a point to a hyperplane \(H\) is the complete intersection of a curve of degree \(b\) and a surface of degree \(d\). They distinguish \(2\) cases of \((b,d)\)-geoprofi, Type 1 and Type 2, Type 1 being the trivial case where \(Z\) is a complete intersection of a curve of degree \(b\) and a surface of degree \(d\). The first main theorem of the paper under review is that Type 2 (or non-trivial) \((b,d)\)-geoprofi exists if and only if \(b\ge 4\) and \(d\ge 2\). Then they gives some classifications adding assumptions of the set \(Z\). For instance, they prove that if \(\#Z =b2\) and \(Z\) is in linear general projection, i.e. any \(4\) of the points of \(Z\) are linearly independent, then \(Z\) is an \((b,2)\)-geoprofi if and only if one of the following cases occurs\N\begin{itemize}\N\item \(b=3\) (always Type 1);\N\item \(b=4\);\N\item \(b=5\) and \(Z\) is arithmetically Gorenstein;\N\item \(b\ge 6\) and \(Z\) is contained in a rational normal curve.\N\end{itemize}\NThe authors also gives other constructions, discuss exclusion-reasons and pose several open questions.
