The classical Minkowski inequality for a closed convex hypersurface \(\Sigma\) in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) has the form\N\[\N\int_{\Sigma} H d\mu \ge n\omega_n^{1/n} |\Sigma|^{(n-1)/n},\N\]\Nwhere \(H\) is the mean curvature of \(\Sigma\), \(\omega_n\) is the area of the unit sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^{n+1}\), and \(|\Sigma|\) is the area of \(\Sigma\). The authors extend this inequality to the case of weakly mean convex and star-shaped hypersurfaces in warped cylinders which are asymptotically flat or hyperbolic.
