Recall that Marsden-Weinstein reduction of a \(\mathfrak{g}\)-Poisson manifold \((M,\pi)\) endowed with a suitable moment map \(J : M \to \mathfrak{g}^{\ast}\) is the assignment of a Poisson structure on the quotient space \(J^{-1}(0)/G\). In the 1980's, \textit{B. Kostant} and \textit{S. Sternberg} showed that the Poisson structure of the reduced space can be recovered with homological methods making use of super-geometry [Ann. Phys. 176, 49--113 (1987; Zbl 0642.17003)]. Nowadays, this approach is part of the Batalin-Fradkin-Vilkovisky (BFV) formalism.\N\NThe article under review generalises these homological methods to the type of reduction studied by \textit{A. S. Cattaneo} and \textit{M. Zambon} [Commun. Math. Phys. 318, No. 3, 675--716 (2013; Zbl 1267.53088)], where the moment map \(J\) takes values in \(\mathfrak{h}^{\ast}\), where \(\mathfrak{h}\) is a suitably compatible \(\mathfrak{g}\)-module. The principal result is that the reduced Poisson structure coincides with the \(0\)-th cohomology of the algebra \(C^\infty(M)\otimes\bigwedge \mathfrak{g}^*\otimes\bigwedge\mathfrak{h}^*\).
