From the text: We study multi-parameter polynomial deformations of integrable systems in the plane given by \(\Omega_\varepsilon=0\), where \[ \Omega_\varepsilon=dF +\sum_{i=0}^n\varepsilon_i\omega_i,\quad \varepsilon=(\varepsilon_0,\dots, \varepsilon_n)\in {\mathbb R}^{n+1}. \] We are interested in their displacement functions \(\Delta(t,\varepsilon)=\sum M_\alpha(t)\varepsilon^\alpha\) along a family of loops \(\gamma(t)\in F^{-1}(t)\) on a transversal \(\Sigma\) to the period annulus parameterized by the values of \(F\). Here \(\alpha=(\alpha_0,\dots,\alpha_n)\) is multi-index and \(\varepsilon^\alpha=\varepsilon_0^{\alpha_0}\dots\varepsilon_a^{\alpha_n}\). We consider the displacement function only on the interior of the period annulus (or possibly at a nondegenerate center or focus) where all functions are analytic. First, in Theorem 2.1 we give a generalization of the algorithm of \textit{J. P. Françoise} [Ergodic Theory Dyn. Syst. 16, No. 1, 87--96 (1996; Zbl 0852.34008)] calculating all terms \(M_\alpha(t)\) in the above expression. Next assume that \(B=(\eta_0(\varepsilon),\dots,\eta_k(\varepsilon))\) is the Bautin ideal of the displacement function (calculated first for quadratic vector fields with a center or focus in [\textit{N. N. Bautin}, Am. Math. Soc., Transl. 100, 19 p. (1954); translation from Mat. Sbornik, n. Ser. 30(72), 181--196 (1952; Zbl 0059.08201)]). Then the displacement function can be written as \(\Delta(t,\varepsilon)=\sum_{i=0}^k\eta_i(\varepsilon)\phi_i(t,\varepsilon)\) with \(\phi_i\) analytic on the considered regular orbits [\textit{R. Roussarie}, Bifurcation of planar vector fields and Hilbert's sixteenth problem. Basel: Birkhäuser (1998; Zbl 0898.58039)]. We want to calculate the principal part of each \(\phi_i\), that is \(\phi_i(t,0)\). We show in Theorem 2.2 that this can be done once we pass to a reduced standard basis of \(B\).
