There are several previous results (due to Good, Knight, Stares, amongst others) which characterize monotonically countably paracompact spaces in terms of monotone operators on real valued functions (see, e.g., [\textit{C. Good} et al., Topology Appl. 101, No. 3, 281--298 (2000; Zbl 0938.54026)]). In the paper under review, the author proceeds with the research initiated in [\textit{K. Yamazaki}, ibid. 169, 51--70 (2014; Zbl 1306.54033)], generalizing, in a number of characterizations which are similar to the above mentioned ones, ``real valued functions'' to ``maps to ordered topological vector spaces with positive interior points''. The author introduces a function \(q_e\), defined on the interior of the positive cone of an ordered topological vector space, and uses this function to provide new proofs for known characterizations of monotonical paracompactness, as well as new characterizations for stratifiable spaces and monotone cb-spaces.
