Average conditions for Kolmogorov systems (Q732377)

The author investigates persistence, permanence and global attractivity of nonautonomous competitive Kolmogorov systems \(u_i' = u_if_i(t, u), i = 1, \ldots, N\). Under suitable assumptions so that the typical Lotka-Volterra system \(u_i' = u_i[a_i(t) - \sum^N_{j=1}b_{ij}(t)u_j], i = 1, \ldots, N\) is included as a special instance, a condition is obtained for the Kolmogorov system to be persistent, permanent, globally attractive and totally permanent. This successfully generalizes the earlier work of Ahmad and Lazer for Lotka-Volterra systems.
