Asymptotic expressions with respect to the Ekman number are found for the velocity components and the longitudinal pressure gradient by solving a system of linear differential equations using Fourier series. The stability limits of such flow are predicted. Attention is drawn to a similarity between the velocity profiles of these flows and flows of a magnetic fluid and a fluid executing longitudinal oscillations in a fixed channel.
