On fuzzy almost continuous functions (Q808461)

The authors extend the ideas of \(\delta\)-open set, \(\delta\)-closed set, \(\delta\)-adherent point of a set and \(\delta\)-closure of a set, as introduced by \textit{Velicko}, in fuzzy setting; the authors also introduce several related characterizations of fuzzy almost continuous functions. Normality along with characterization is discussed in fuzzy setting. Finally, the notion of a fuzzy almost quasi-compact mapping is introduced and its characterization and the relationship with fuzzy almost continuous functions is discussed.
