The authors study generalized Bessel functions in two variables depending on two parameters. These Bessel functions were introduced by Dattoli and Torre and are defined as discrete convolutions of classical one-dimensional Bessel functions by summing over the integral indices. In particular, connections to representations of the Lie algebra \({\mathcal T}_3\) are given.
