Let \(G\) be a finite group, and let \(R\) be a complete discrete valuation domain with quotient field \(K\) of characteristic 0 and algebraically closed residue class field \(k\) of characteristic \(p>0\). The author assumes that \(K\) is completely ramified over a subfield with ramification index \(\geq 3\) [see \textit{S. Kawata}, J.~Pure Appl. Algebra~202, No. 1-3, 55-71 (2005; Zbl 1077.16018)]. For a non-projective indecomposable \(kG\)-module \(M\), this implies that the \(RG\)-lattice \(\Omega M\) is again indecomposable. The author calls \(\Omega M\) a Heller lattice. For a representation-infinite block \(B\) of \(RG\) containing a Heller lattice \(\Omega M\), the author proves that \(\Omega M\) is located at the end of an Auslander-Reiten component of tree class \(\mathbb{A}_\infty\). By a result of Erdmann, this implies, in particular, that \(B\) has infinitely many \(\mathbb{A}_\infty\)-components if its defect group is not a Klein four group.
