In the very interesting paper under review the author investigates general Shapiro-Lopatinsky elliptic boundary value problems on manifolds with polycylindrical ends. The study is carried out by compactifying such a manifold to one with corners of, in general, higher codimension, and dealing then with boundary value problems for cusp differential operators. An adapted Boutet de Monvel's calculus of pseudodifferential boundary value problems is introduced which enables the construction of parametrices for elliptic cusp operators. As consequence, one gets immediately Fredholm solvability and elliptic regularity up to the boundary and up to infinity for the solutions to the boundary value problems on manifolds with polycylindric ends.
