Operational rules and a generalized Hermite polynomials (Q881987)

In this paper the author presents an exhaustive study of the generalized Hermite polynomials by means of the so-called operator calculus. This method allows him to recover, from the generating function for the polynomial family, the three-term recurrence relation and the second order linear differential equation that the generalized Hermite polynomials satisfy. Finally he shows how to solve some connection and linearization problems involving the generalized Hermite polynomials.
