The author investigates the set of points of continuity (quasi-continuity, cliquishness) of functions of two variables such that the sections \(f^x\) are continuous (quasi-continuous, cliquish) and the sections \(f_y\) have closed graph. For example, it is shown that if \(X\) is a topological space, \(Y\) is a second countable space and \(Z\) is a locally compact Hausdorff second countable space, and if a mapping \(f:X\times Y\to Z\) is such that the sections \(f^x\) are continuous for every \(x\) from some residual set in \(X\) and all the sections \(f_y\) have closed graph, then the set \(\{ x\in X: \{ x\}\times Y\subset C(f)\}\) is residual in \(X\), where \(C(f)\) is the set of continuity points of \(f\).
