The purpose of this note is to extend earlier results of the author to include algebraicity of Green functions to an arbitrary tree. An explicit formula is given for a Green function, representing the resolvent of a symmetric, self-adjoint operator on the space of square summable complex valued functions on the set of vertices of a connected, locally finite tree.
