\textit{C. Conti, L. Gori} and \textit{F. Pitolli} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 200, No.~1, 255--265 (2007; Zbl 1114.65017)] have generated a new class of totally positive refinable functions by using nonstationary subdivision schemes. For this class of functions, an analysis of the system of integer translates, the multiresolution aspects, and the construction of relative pre-wavelets are studied.
