Let \(r_k\) denote the \(k\)-th Rademacher function. The Walsh functions can be represented as products of Rademacher functions. Namely, if \(n=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}n_k 2^k \;(n_k = 0 \;\text{or} \;1)\) is the binary decomposition of \(n\) then the \(n\)-th Walsh function \(w_n\) in the Paley numeration is defined as \(w_n = \prod_{k=0}^{\infty}r_k^{n_k}\). By means of the Walsh-Dirichlet kernels \(D_n = \sum_{k=0}^{n-1}w_k\), the Walsh-Fourier partial sums can be expressed as \(S_n f (x) = (D_n * f)(x)\). Let \(f^{*} = \sup_{n} | S_{2^n} f |\). Then \(f\) is said to belong to \(H^p\) if \(f^{*} \in L^p\). Let \(\varphi\) be a bounded sequence. The authors [Appl. Anal. 82, No. 7, 689--700 (2003; Zbl 1032.42032)] showed that if \(\varphi\) satisfies Marcinkiewicz-Hörmander-Mikhlin condition; \[ \sum_{k=2^n}^{2^{n+1}-1}| \varphi (k) - \varphi (k+1) |^q \leq C 2^{n(1-q)}, \] then the Fourier multiplier operator; \[ \widehat{ T_{\varphi} f} (k)= \varphi (k)\hat{f}(k) \] is bounded on \(H^p\) for some \(p\). They consider this theorem on two-dimensional dyadic Hardy spaces.
