Metrics on complex manifolds (Q973756)

Intrinsic metrics on complex manifolds are considered. A generalization of the Bergman metric is constructed. Certain relations of metrics on moduli spaces are studied. Some existence theorems of solutions of Strominger system are considered. The main result is the following Theorem. Let \(X\) be a smooth quintic three-fold and \(\omega\) be any Kähler form on \(X\). Then for large \(c> 0\), there is a smooth deformation of \(\mathbb{C}_X\oplus T_X\) such that for small \(s\), there are pairs \((H_s,\omega_s\) of Hermitian metrics \(H_s\) on \(E\) and Hermitian form \(\omega_s\) on \(X\) that solves the system of Strominger.
