Suppose \(\alpha(t)\) is a nonnegative function (weight), \(E\) is the union of infinitely many disjoint intervals, \(\Lambda\) is a set of distinct complex numbers, and \(C_0\) is the space of functions \(f\) continuous on \(E\) with norm \(\sup\{|f(t)|e^{-\alpha(t)}, t\in E\}\) such that \(fe^{-\alpha}\) vanishes at infinity. Some sufficient conditions on \(\alpha\), \(E\), and \(\Lambda\) are given under which the system \(\{t^\lambda, \lambda\in\Lambda\}\) is complete in \(C_0\). The proof is based on the method from [\textit{A. Boivin, Ch. Zhu}, J. Approximation Theory 118, No. 1, 1--19 (2002; Zbl 1014.30004)] and a completeness result from [\textit{A. A. Borichev, M. Sodin}, Ill. J. Math. 45, No. 1, 167--185 (2001; Zbl 0989.41003)].
