A quantum stochastic Lie-Trotter product formula (Q981869)

In the paper under review the authors establish a Trotter type formula for unitary quantum stochastic cocycles acting on a symmetric Fock space and satisfying quantum stochastic differential equations with bounded coefficients. Given two such cocycles their Trotter-type product is shown to be stochastically generated by the map which can be determined via a simple formula from the original generators. The method of the proof is based on the application of the standard Trotter-Lie formula for the \(C_0\)-semigroups associated with the respective cocycles.
