G-theory of group rings for groups of square-free order
Let \(\phi\) be an irreducible rational representation of a finite group G with representation space \(V_{\phi}\), \({\mathcal D}_{\phi}^ a \)certain maximal order in \(End_{Q(G)}\) \((V_{\phi})\) and R a left-Noetherian ring. \textit{I. Hambleton}, \textit{L. Taylor}, and \textit{B. Williams} conjectured [On \(G_ n(RG)\) for G a finite nilpotent group (to appear in J. Algebra)] that \(G_*(RG)\cong \oplus_{\phi}G_*(R\oplus_ Z{\mathcal D}_{\phi})\), and this has been shown to be valid for G nilpotent, dihedral or non-Abelian of order pq. The paper establishes the conjecture for groups of square-free order.
