Effect of particle inertia on the instability of a particle-laden flow
From MaRDI portal
Publication:1370685
The authors investigate two temporal instabilities for a range of particle mass loadings and Stokes numbers. It is found that particle inertia not only modifies the shear instability, but also gives rise to a second instability that depends critically on differential particle loading.
