Abstract: In this paper, we prove that, if Deligne's "petites camarades conjecture" holds, then a Langlands type correspondence holds also for p-adic coefficients on a smooth curve over a finite field. We also prove that any overconvergent F-isocrystal of rank less than or equal to 2 on a smooth variety is iota-mixed.

The author studies a \(p\)-adic analogue of Lafforgues theorem that for function fields over finete fields automorphic forms correspond to \(l\)-adic local systems. The \(p\)-adic analogue consists of overconvergent \(F\)-crystals. He shows that a map in one direction (automorphic forms to \(F\)-crystals) suffices, as the converse follows from the author's work an epsilon factors. In a paper [``Langlands correspondence for isocrystals and existence of crystalline companion for curves, \url{arXiv:1310.0528}, to appear in J. Am. Math. Soc. \url{doi:10.1090/jams/898}]) he has constructed such a map.
