Abstract: In this paper in the space L2(m)(0,1) the problem of construction of optimal quadrature formulas is considered. Here the quadrature sum consists on values of integrand at nodes and values of first derivative of integrand at the end points of integration interval. The optimal coefficients are found and norm of the error functional is calculated for arbitrary fixed N and for any mgeq2. It is shown that when m=2 and m=3 the Euler-Maclaurin quadrature formula is optimal.

The authors investigate the problem of constructing optimal quadrature formulae in the sense of Sard in the space \(L^{(m)}_{2}(0,1)\). Using \textit{S. L. Sobolev} and \textit{V. L. Vaskevich}'s method in [The theory of cubature formulas. Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers (1997; Zbl 0877.65009)], they obtain the coefficients and the norm of the optimal error functional for this quadrature formulas, for any \(m\geq 2\). Some numerical results and particular cases are given.
