Invariant Banach limits and applications to noncommutative geometry
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2189544
The authors prove that a Banach limit which is invariant under the Cesàro operator is also dilation-invariant. Similar results for extended limits on \(L_{\infty}(0,\infty)\) are also established and some applications to singular traces are discussed.
