Abstract: In this paper we consider a Condorcet domain (CD) formed by a rhombus tiling as a voting design and consider a problem of aggregation of voting designs using majority rule. A Condorcet super-domain is a collection of CDs obtained from rhombus tilings on a zonogone Z(n; 2) with the property that if voting designs (ballots) belong to this collection, then the simple majority rule does not yield cycles. A study of Condorcet super-domains and methods of constructing them form the main subject of this paper.

Given a natural \(n\), a rhombus tiling is a subdivision of a zonogon (according to the Minkowski sum for \(n\) line segments) into parallelograms (rhombuses, for short). In this paper, the authors deal with the problem of aggregation of rhombus tilings with the help of a certain natural majority rule. Studies of Condorcet domains were initiated by \textit{K. J. Arrow} [Social choice and individual values. New York, NY: Wiley; London: Chapman \& Hall (1951; Zbl 0984.91513)], \textit{D. Black} [``On the rationale of group decision-making, J. Polit. Econ. 56, 23--34 (1948)] and \textit{A. K. Sen} [Econometrica 34, 491--499 (1966; Zbl 0149.17003)]. Recently an interest to this area was renewed (by the present authors and some other mathematicians). The authors introduce the idea of Condorcet super-domain and normal super-domain accompanied by a very interesting example. They present some new and positive results in this area (within two particular cases).
