Freeness over the diagonal for large random matrices
From MaRDI portal
Publication:2227712
Let us assume that some independent families of permutation invariant random matrices satisfy a uniform operator norm bound. In this paper, it is proved that such families are asymptotically free with amalgamation over the diagonal, both in expectation and in probability. The result remains valid even if the matrices are gradually multiplied by random variables satisfying a certain growth condition.
