Localized stable manifolds for whiskered tori in coupled map lattices with decaying interaction
Let \({\mathbb T}\) be the circle and let \(M={\mathbb T}^l\times{\mathbb R}^d\). Let \({\mathcal M}\) be the set of bounded sequences in \(\Pi M\), where the product is taken over \({\mathbb R}^N\). The authors study a lattice dynamical system (with time from \({\mathbb R}^N\)) generated by a mapping \(F:{\mathcal M}\to{\mathcal M}\) coupled by local interactions and they prove invariant manifold theorems for whiskered tori of such lattice systems (a whiskered torus is a quasi-periodic solution with exponentially contracting and expanding directions in the linearized system).
