    The author defines fuzzy Sylow \(p\)-subgroups of a group \(G\). Some of the results are: (i) A subgroup of a finite group \(G\) is a Sylow \(p\)-subgroup iff its characteristic function is a fuzzy Sylow \(p\)-subgroup of \(G\), (ii) If \(\mu\), \(\theta\) are two fuzzy Sylow \(p\)-subgroups of \(G\) such that \(\text{Im }\mu = \text{Im }\theta\), then \(\mu\) and \(\theta\) are conjugates of each other, (iii) Let \(G\) be abelian and \(O(G) = p_ 1^{\alpha_ 1} \dots p_ n^{\alpha_ n}\) where \(p_ 1,\dots,p_ n\) are distinct primes and \(\alpha_ 1,\dots,\alpha_ n\) are positive integers. If \(\mu\) is an improper fuzzy subgroup of \(G\), then \(\mu = \mu_ 1 \times \mu_ 2 \times \dots \times \mu_ n\) where \(\mu_ i\) is a fuzzy Sylow \(p_ i\)-subgroup of \(S(p_ i)\) and \(S(p_ i)\) is the Sylow \(p_ i\)-subgroup of \(G\) for \(i = 1,2,\dots,n\).
