The authors give a very useful and comprehensive survey on results and open problems in the area of combinatorial zero sum problems in finite abelian groups. They concentrate on results after the appearance of a survey article by \textit{Y.~Caro}, ''Zero-sum problems -- a survey.'' [Discrete Math. 152, No. 1--3, 93--113 (1996; Zbl 0856.05068)].
