State feedback, confinement and stabilization for non-linear continuous-time systems

From MaRDI portal

For the controlled nonlinear system \(\dot x=f(x,u)\), \(y=g(x)\) a static nonlinear compensator \(u=\sigma(x)\) is designed in order that the system \(\dot x=f(x,\sigma(x))\) should be stable (in the sense that some mappings defined on system's trajectories are continuous) and the output should belong to some given manifold. Two simple examples are given.
