In the theory of rational vertex operator algebras, the determination of the automorphism groups is one of the main problems. Let \(V_L\) be a vertex operator algebra associated to a positive definite even lattice \(L\). Let \(\theta\) be an automorphism of the vertex operator algebra \(V_L\) lifted from the \(-1\) isometry of \(L\). Then the \(\theta\)-invariants \(V_L ^{+}\) form a simple vertex operator algebra. In the paper under review the author continues the study of the automorphism groups of the vertex operator algebra \(V_L^{+}\) from his previous paper [J. Algebra 280, 29--57 (2004; Zbl 1091.17011)]. By using a new method for calculating the automorphism groups, the author determines \(\text{Aut}(V_L ^{+})\) for even lattices of rank one, two and three, and even unimodular lattices.
