The concept of reduction of symmetries in stochastic Hamiltonian systems elaborated by \textit{J.-A. Lázaro-Camí} and \textit{J.-P. Ortega} [Rep. Math. Phys. 61, No. 1, 65--122 (2008; Zbl 1147.37032); Stoch. Dyn. 9, No. 1, 1--46 (2009; Zbl 1187.60045)] is translated by the author in a natural way to that of compression in stochastic G-Chaplygin systems. In the sequel the author applies it to the study of the \(n\)-dimensional Chaplygin ball. In particular, it is shown that the drift of the stochastically perturbed Chaplygin ball is a certain gradient of the density of the preserved measure of the deterministic system.
