Global heat kernel estimates for relativistic stable processes in half-space-like open sets (Q663509): Difference between revisions

Using probabilistic methods, the authors obtain exact two-sided large-time estimates for the Dirichlet heat kernel of \(m-(m^{2/\alpha}-\Delta )^{\alpha /2}\), \(0<m\leq 1\), \(0<\alpha <2\), on half-space-like \(C^{1,1}\)-open sets. The constants in the estimates do not depend on \(m\). This complements the sharp two-sided small-time estimates for arbitrary \(C^{1,1}\)-open sets found earlier by the authors [Ann. Probab. 40, No. 1, 213--244 (2012; Zbl 1235.60101)]. Integrating the heat kernel estimates with respect to the time variable, one recovers the Green function estimates for the above pseudo-differential operators found by the authors earlier [Stochastic Processes Appl. 121, No. 5, 1148--1172 (2011; Zbl 1235.60100)].
