Pursuing the representation-theoretic approach to cluster algebras, \textit{C. Fu} and \textit{B. Keller} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 362, No. 2, 859--895 (2010; Zbl 1201.18007)] gave a categorification of cluster algebras with coefficients by means of 2-Calabi-Yau Frobenius categories. Among other things, this led to a proof of Fomin and Zelevinsky's conjecture that cluster monomials are linearly independent. Geiß, Leclerc and Schröer proved a similar conjecture for cluster algebras of Lie groups by showing that the cluster monomials form a subset of Lusztig's dual semicanonical basis in the simply-laced case. However, the use of such a method breaks down if the corresponding Kac-Moody group is not of simply laced type. In his very nice paper, the author considers exact stably 2-Calabi-Yau categories with a finite group action and develops a theory of equivariant mutations to extend previous results like the mentioned ones to the skew-symmetrizable case. In particular, the results of Geiß, Leclerc and Schröer are improved in this way.
