Isomorphic Schauder decompositions in certain Banach spaces (Q403193): Difference between revisions

The main goal of the paper is to extend a result of \textit{T. Kato} [Bull. Am. Math. Soc. 73, 904--905 (1967; Zbl 0156.38103)] for the case of certain sequences of projections in Orlicz spaces, and for sequences of projections in spaces with Schauder-Orlicz decompositions. The author also investigates the properties of unconditional Schauder decompositions under certain geometric assumptions on the spaces involved. The arguments are beautiful, technical and in some part of the paper the optimal constants of the Khinchine inequality, due to \textit{U. Haagerup} [Stud. Math. 70, 231--283 (1982; Zbl 0501.46015)], are used.
