Degenerate versions of Green's theorem for Hall modules (Q2207266): Difference between revisions

A theorem by \textit{J. A. Green} [Invent. Math. 120, No. 2, 361--377 (1995; Zbl 0836.16021)] asserts that the Hall algebra of a finite type quiver over a finite field is a twisted bialgebra, stating in particular certain compatibility conditions between its multiplication and comultiplication. In [\textit{M. B. Young}, J. Algebra, 446, 291--322 (2016; Zbl 1333.16017)] the author introduced a generalization of the Hall algebra construction to self-dual objects in categories with a notion of duality. Typical examples include orthogonal and symplectic quiver representations and as well as orthogonal and symplectic vector bundles over a smooth variety. The resulting object is a so-called Hall module which is a module and comodule over the Hall algebra of the category with duality. However, the analogue of Green's theorem no longer remains true and, in general, the nature of compatibility between the module and comodule structures is unknown. The paper under review studies this problem in two instances: Hall modules of quiver representations over the field with one element and the constructible Hall module of the category of complex quiver representations. In each case it gives a precise description of the compatibility between their module and comodule structures which is reminiscent of Yetter-Drinfeld modules.
