The author studies local first integrals of a class of analytic differential systems with eigenvalues of the linear part at the origin being one zero and others non-resonant. There are two main results. The first one shows that this kind of systems has a first integrals if and only if the origin is not isolated. In his previous work [J. Differ. Equations 263, No. 11, 7309--7321 (2017; Zbl 1385.34004)], the author showed that there exist examples of this family of systems without analytic first integrals. The second result provides a measure for the subset of analytic system having analytic first integrals. In the proofs the author introduces some new tools to study regularity and convergence of local first integrals. This is a meaningful contribution on the application of algebraic and analytic techniques to study the local integrability of nonlinear ODEs.
