The nowadays classical function spaces \(F^s_{p,q} (\mathbb R^n)\), \(s\in \mathbb R\) and \(0<p,q \le \infty\), have been generalized in several directions. Firstly, the underlying Lebesgue spaces \(L_p (\mathbb R^n)\) have been replaced by their Morrey generalizations \(M^{u}_p (\mathbb R^n)\) with \(p \le u\). Secondly, the constant parameters \(s,p,q\) have been replaced by variable parameter functions \(s(x)\), \(p(x)\), \(q(x)\) (and also \(u(x)\)). The present paper deals with atomic and molecular characterizations of spaces combining the above-indicated generalizations.
