Suppose that \(A,C\) are associative algebras over a commutative ring \(k\). A twisted tensor product is an algebra defined on \(A\otimes_kC\) with the unit \(1\otimes 1\) such that \(a\otimes c=(a\otimes 1)(1\otimes c)\) for all \(a\in A\), \(c\in C\). The authors consider the case when \(C=k[y]/(y^n)\). There is given a criterion of simplicity of a twisted tensor product. In the specific case of upper triangularity of the twisted map \(c\colon C\otimes A\to A\otimes C\) there is found a complete classification of these algebras.
