This paper deals with the construction of a homeomorphism \(f\) in the Sobolev space \(W^{1,1}((0, 1)^N , (0, 1)^N)\), where \(N \geq 3\), such that its inverse lies in the same space (i.e., \(f\) is a bi-Sobolev homeomorphism) and both their Jacobians are zero almost everywhere. Consequently, \(f\) maps a set of full measure to a null set and a remaining null set to a set of full measure. Moreover, it is shown that such a pathological homeomorphism cannot exist when \(N = 2\) or if \(f \in W^{1,N-1}\).
