The article is a natural continuation of [\textit{G. Barbarino} et al., ETNA, Electron. Trans. Numer. Anal. 53, 28--112 (2020; Zbl 1434.65032)] and is devoted to the important topic of block generalized locally Toeplitz sequences. The theory of multilevel generalized locally Toeplitz (GLT) sequences is a powerful tool for computing the asymptotic spectral distribution of matrices arising from any kind of numerical discretization of partial differential equations. Chapter 2 collects the necessary preliminaries. Chapters 3 and 4 cover the theory of multilevel block GLT sequences, which is finally summarized in Chapter 5. The exposition in this work is conducted on an abstract level. In Section 4 the authors prove the main singular value and eigenvalue distribution results for multilevel block generalized locally Toeplitz sequences (see Theorem 4.7 and Theorem 4.12), topological density results for block multilevel GLT sequences (see Theorem 4.20), characterizations of block multilevel GLT sequences (see Theorem 4.22). Chapter 6 is devoted to applications.
