A new class of methods with memory for solving nonlinear equations is introduced. The convergence analysis proves that these new derivative-free methods preserve their order of convergence. A comparison between the methods without memory and these with memory and adaptive methods in terms of the maximum efficiency index alongside the number of steps per cycle is given. Many numerical experiments are provided.
