The authors study the properties of closely related operators arising in the context of the \(d\)-dimensional Walsh system where the martingle tools were brought to bear. Specifically, the optimal constant \(K\), which depends on \(\alpha\), \(d\) and \(p\), such that for any \(f\in L^p((0,d]^d)\) the following inequality \[ \mid\mid I_{\alpha}f\mid\mid_{L^{q,\infty}((0,d]^d)} \leq K\mid\mid f\mid\mid_{L^{p}((0,d]^d)} \] holds, where \(d \geq 1\) is any integer, \(\alpha \in (0,d)\) is a fixed parameter, \(I_{\alpha}\) is the fractional integral operator associated with the \(d\)-dimensional Walsh-Fourier series on \((0,d]^d\) and \(p\), \(q\) satisfy the conditions \(1 \leq p < d/{\alpha}\) and \(1/q = 1/p -\alpha /d\). In addition, sharp weighted weak-type bound for \(I_{\alpha}\), which can be regarded as a version of Muckenhoupt-Wheeden conjecture for fractional integral operators were also presented, proved and discussed.
