This beautiful paper is about regularity properties of weak solutions or local minimizers of \[ \operatorname{div} A(x,Du) = 0 \quad \int_\Omega F(x,Du)dx \] respectively. Although this topic has been investigated so long in the past decades and several conditions on \(A\) and \(F\) have been imposed over the years here there is something really new. Assumptions in this paper generalize most of what is in the literature, for example, \((p-q)\) growth, variable exponent and others very well known conditions. The authors show a maximal regularity result, i.e., \(W^{1,1}\) solutions are Hölder continuous and, adding some smoothness on the leading coefficients, solutions are actually \(C^{1,\alpha}\). The corresponding result for minimizers is proved too.
