The author defines the fuzzy Jacobson radical \(FJR(R)\) and the fuzzy prime radical \(FPR(R)\) of a ring \(R\) and obtains some results. Some of the important results are: (1) The ring of fuzzy cosets of the fuzzy ideal \(FJR(R)\) is semisimple, (ii) if \(R\) be Boolean, then \(FJR(R)=FPR(R)\), (iii) the ring of fuzzy cosets of the fuzzy ideal \(FPR(R)\) is the zero prime radical, (iv) if \(f\) is a homomorphism of a ring \(R_ 1\) onto a ring \(R_ 2\) and \(\mu_ i=FPR(R_ i)\), \(\theta_ i=FJR(R_ i)\) for \(i=1,2\), then \(f(\mu_ 1)\subset \mu_ 2\), \(\mu_ 1=f^{-1}(\mu_ 2)\) if \(\mu_ 1\) be \(f\)-invariant, \(f(\theta_ 1)\subset\theta_ 2\), \(\theta_ 1=f^{-1}(\theta_ 2)\) if \(\theta_ 1\) be \(f\)-invariant.
