The main idea of the paper is to use some extra information about linear time-invariant SISO systems with uncertainty to design a robustly stable control system without gain adaptation. The line of reasoning is based on the high-gain controller theory under [see e.g. \textit{M. V. Meerov}, Avtom. Telemekh. 8, 152-167 (1947)] assumptions that the gain margins could be estimated from the boundaries of the domain defining the uncertain coefficients of the system transfer function. The authors also present some results related to systems with unmodeled dynamics at high frequencies.
