This article is about enumeration of elliptic curves on toric surfaces with fixed \(j\)-invariant. The main result of the paper is a tropical correspondence theorem, showing that the number of elliptic curves with fixed generic \(j\)-invariant on a toric surface \(X\), for \(j \neq 0,1728\) equals the number of tropical genus one cuves on the tropicalization of \(X\). This buils on previous work of \textit{M. Kerber} and \textit{H. Markwig} [Comment. Math. Helv. 84, No. 2, 387--427 (2009; Zbl 1205.14071)] and \textit{R. Pandharipande} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 125, No. 12, 3471--3479 (1997; Zbl 0883.14031)]. The paper contributes explicit calculations of elliptic curves in Hirzebruch surfaces \(\mathbb{F}_n\), and provides an explicit formula for the number of elliptic curves with fixed \(j\)-invariant in terms of genus zero counts in \(\mathbb{F}_n\). This is of particular interest in the field of enumerative geometry for Hirzebruch surfaces, which has been extensively studied in the literature.
