Integrable variable dissipation systems on the tangent bundle of a multi-dimensional sphere and some applications (Q1746301)

This paper is a survey of integrable cases in dynamics of a multi-dimensional rigid body under the action of a nonconservative force field. The author reviews both new results and results obtained earlier. Problems examined are described by dynamical systems with so-called variable dissipation with zero mean. The results on the study of equations of motion of a multi-dimensional rigid body in a nonconservative force field are systematized. The integrable cases in low-, and multi-dimensional dynamics of a rigid body that is placed in a nonconservative force field are described.
